First ANC Coffee Walk a Success

Councilmember Nadeau is on the left speaking with a group of five people. One has a clipboard in her hand while three others are holding coffee cups. They are standing at a street corner with a building in the background and some temporary chain link fencing around the building.

Thanks to the ANC 1B commissioners and residents who came out to walk the ANC with Councilmember Nadeau to talk about trash, street sweeping, traffic, pedestrian, and public safety and more. The Councilmember and Lauren from her team were able to update folks and gather feedback on issues we have previously identified and hear about ones that are new to us. It’s always great to speak with neighbors who are passionate about keeping Ward 1 a great place to live.

The next Coffee Walk will be Tuesday, August 8. Meet up for coffee at 8 am at Potter’s House, 1658 Columbia Rd NW and we’ll start walking at 8:30 am.
