Nadeau: “Serious Concerns” about PEPCO-Exelon Merger – Office of Councilmember Brianne K. Nadeau

“While the Council does not have a vote on this issue, I felt compelled to share my findings after reviewing the submitted testimony and hearing from many passionate constituents,” said Councilmember Nadeau. “I have serious concerns that a merger could expose District ratepayers to rate increases and could have a negative impact on our progress on renewables. I urge the commission to consider my serious concerns when making a decision about this merger.”
